It's no secret that through years of trial and error, Dog Breath Photography has developed an iconic, instantly recognizable style—but we want to be up front in sharing that this platform isn’t necessarily about just copying one, singular look. It’s about creative exploration, experimentation, and helping you uncover a voice that’s unmistakably your own. We’ll dive deep into all kinds of bold, out-of-the-box photoshoots out in the world in epic locations. (Take all the images on this very website as the perfect examples of what we'll be up to creating inside the Society.) At times we will be using Natural Light. At times we will be using Strobes. Or Small Flashes. Constant Lights. Colored Gels. Fog Machines. You Name It. The photo styles will vary as we explore through ever-changing conditions in the field, but each photograph will always be made with one goal: To Take The Best Dog Photos On Earth. We will explore together,  pushing far beyond just repeatable formulas. The Dog Breath Photo Society exists to throw sticks of dynamite at brand new doors that are desperate to be opened, to challenge creative comfort zones, and to guide you through both strong foundations as well as uncharted territory. So, If your heart pounds for the spark of creation and your hands ache to shape the unseen - Welcome.

IMAGE ALCHEMY

 Go behind the scenes to see how the best dog photos on earth are made. Each month, we'll do a deep dive into the creation of one epic, cinematic photograph - showing you exactly how to execute the vision and technique so you can make heart-stopping images that absolutely blast the socks off of your local competition.

CANINE CRAFTWORK

Each month, we'll discuss an important aspect of dog photography. From choosing the best gear for the shot, to how to take great action photos, to getting creative in the real world on-location - and SO MUCH MORE.

HIDDEN EXPOSURE

Society members can submit their photos for our monthly blind photo critique show. Each month, we'll select 5 members at random to critique - providing constructive, honest feedback, and uncovering the hidden lessons that everyone can learn from.

RETOUCHING RITUALS

Want to see exactly how Kaylee puts the perfect polish on her images? Every month, Kaylee will share a full image edit - taking you through from the raw file, through her finished product. Learn all the secrets of Lightroom, Photoshop, and more in this monthly offering.
